Kitchen | work in progress

A few pics of what we’ve been up to over the last few weeks…

We’ve basically pulled out the ugly country cream kitchen, moved about the sockets and plumbing to accommodate the new layout designed by the fabulous maker Mark Lane at Square one design, we then replastered and painted in a kitchen paint in time for the big day when it made its way over to the flat to be installed.

We also picked out the colours we wanted for the formica fronted doors and got all our appliances, shipping them to the Square one workshop so Mark could make sure they were a perfect fit. For the moment we haven’t decide on a back splash. As the kitchen is part of the living/dining area I’m thinking of steering clear of tiles ...decisions decisions!

Photos coming shortly of the kitchen in its final state, its such an exciting transformation! and makes such a satisfying before and after. The whole process was made super easy with the uber talented Mark on hand, I can’t recommend his services enough!
