AUGUSTE HERBIN
Auguste Herbin (April 29, 1882 – January 30/31, 1960) was a French painter of modern art. He is best known for his abstract paintings consisting of colorful geometric figures. He co-founded the groupsAbstraction-Création and Salon des Réalités Nouvelles which promoted non-figurative abstract art.
