Marcel Louis Baugniet was a Belgian artist . He is considered one of the most important avant-garde artists in Belgium. He was a painter , collagist and designed stage sets , posters , rugs , advertising artwork, ceramics and furniture .
He designed for his wife’s ballets, Marguerite Acarin, aka the Akarova dancer costumes.
